Throughout the Gulf region the market for instant powdered drinks is dominated by orange-flavoured drinks with little or no differentiation. In this market scenario Foster Clark has opted for an innovation strategy, investing heavily in the launch of a product made solely from the much richer and juicier ‘Valencia’ orange cultivar variant.
Following an extensive above the line advertising campaign including TV burst on Pan-Arab television channels, the Valencia launch was successfully received and the product is already available in 5 different markets throughout the region.
